The Tylor Brandon Band is a country music band based out of Albuquerque, New Mexico. Born out of deep desire to get back to the root of the old country music we all enjoyed listening to, the five of us came together to form a group unlike any other in New Mexico. The Tylor Brandon Band is all about showcasing the best in country music from all generations, and putting on a show to keep people on their feet, two-steppin’ the night away! The Band is composed of multiple talented musicians, who each bring in their own respective styles to make TBB what it is.

Tylor: Heading up the crew is the country crooner Tylor Brandon. His smooth, deep, authentic country voice sets the stage for what TBB is all about. Having performed locally over the past year, Tylor has honed his vocal talent and rhythm guitar skills to set the pace for the group.

Emily: Four-time State Fiddle Champion, Emily Anslover, needs only a few notes to light up the stage with her hair raising fiddle and make fans out of anyone listening. Along with TBB, she also can be caught performing with Silver String Band and Anslover Family Band. She is finishing up her degree at the University of New Mexico, sharing her talent by teaching in her spare time as well as leading a kids bluegrass band with her sister.

Josh: Bringing in those signature lead riffs is the great Joshua Lee on electric guitar. Josh is one of the premier Country and Roots guitarists in New Mexico. After nearly a decade in the Los Angeles music industry, Josh recently returned to New Mexico and has quickly created buzz over his unique voice on a telecaster.

Jeff: Born and raised in Tennessee, Jeff Wilson grew up on a steady diet of country music from the 70’s, 80’s, and 90’s. His grandfather taught him to play guitar and gave him a deep appreciation of the Bakersfield and early rockabilly sounds. Jeff picked up the bass many years later and now he adds that tight, classic low-end drive to the TBB sound.

Kyle: And last, but certainly not least, is our steady beat maker, Kyle Matthews. Kyle comes to the group from Texas, where he performed and recorded with multiple groups covering a variety of genres. Having grown up with a mother who was an avid country music fan, Kyle brings those classic drum licks and smooth vocal harmonies to provide a strong foundation for TBB.

The Broken Spoke is perhaps the most famous Honky Tonk in the world. Opened in 1964, it features a restaurant, full bar and in the back, a hand built dancehall by owner and founder, James White.
