A Texas-born singer-songwriter who is forging her own retro sound in Americana music.
With four top fifty singles to Texas Red Dirt Radio, seven years of solo performances under her belt, over 100 acoustic performances per year, Julia is making her mark early in her career.
Recently awarded 2018’s “New Female Vocalist of the Year” at the Texas Regional Radio Music Awards, Hatfield has already made quite the statement in the industry. A semi-finalist at the International Songwriting Competition at only fourteen, her talent was evident early on. Beginning piano at age five as well as writing songs and playing guitar at thirteen, her musical accomplishments have continued to show she is truly a jack of all trades.
Inspired by greats like Dolly Parton and Michael Jackson, Julia has created a dynamic sound that shines through in her performances and music — entertaining fans from California to Tennessee, and of course, the great state of Texas.
Her personality is a big as her legendary family — the Hatfields, as in the ones the McCoys weren’t particularly fond of. When you meet Julia, you’ll quickly come to know her love for her craft, but that only second to her love for people. Often described as “an old soul with a youthful spirit”, her ability to connect with an audience is undeniable. Between her retro vibe and one of a kind talent, Julia isn’t just an artist to watch out for — she’s one to be rooting for.
